Customer Responsibilities
As the owner of your infrastructure and business, you are responsible for:
Infrastructure Ownership
You own and control your IT infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, and endpoints. Alpha Hawk provides guidance and tooling—implementation and maintenance authority rest with you.
Patch & Update Management
Applying security patches, software updates, and configuration changes is your responsibility. We provide notifications, risk assessments, and guidance—you execute or delegate execution.
Policy Enforcement
Organizational policies, access controls, user permissions, and acceptable use policies must be defined and enforced by your team. We advise and assist—but enforcement is internal.
Implementing Recommendations
Security assessments and advisory reports require action. Alpha Hawk provides recommendations and roadmaps—you prioritize, budget, and implement based on your risk appetite.
Regulatory Compliance Decisions
Compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) is your legal responsibility. We align with best practices and frameworks, but final compliance decisions are yours.
User Training & Awareness
While Alpha Hawk provides cybersecurity awareness programs, ensuring employee participation, adherence to policies, and behavioral change is an organizational responsibility.
Incident Escalation & Communication
You must promptly report incidents, security events, or anomalies to Alpha Hawk when advisory or response services are engaged. Timely communication enables effective support.
Budget & Resource Allocation
Security and technology investments require internal approval and resource commitment. Alpha Hawk proposes solutions—you approve and fund them.
